Another wedding, another great day: this one with Laura and Caleb and their little family, at a park venue in New Zealand with plenty of trees to play with.
The day started at Caleb’s beautiful home on the edge of town, with Caleb and his groomsmen. It was good to meet the little fella of the family, who could hardly be still for five seconds, except when he was eating. After that I caught up with the girls as they were getting their last hair and makeup touch-ups. I also practised my newly learned Gen-Z lingo on Laura’s sister. If you do not know what “slay” means, you are way too old.

Emerald green and a swing
The rest of the day flew by. The park gave us so many good places to work, especially in the afternoon with the light dancing behind the tree lines. I love backlight for photographs of a bride and groom, and we had amazing weather, which made a perfect day even better.
