About

Hi, I’m Binh.

A dad of three. For more than fifteen years I have photographed weddings: more than five hundred of them, across eight countries, from Fiji to Barbados. I do it in two ways.

The first way

Slow, and very still.

For the portraits. Quiet, timeless frames that hold the mood of the day, made to last longer than any trend. Years from now, one look will take you straight back to how it felt, and to the two of you at the very start of your story.

The second way

Very quick, for the moments nobody planned.

Your best friend losing it in the second row. Dad going off script. The bridesmaid who said she wouldn’t dance, dancing.

One more thing

I take a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple gets the whole of me. Lots of laughter and plenty of bad jokes included.

Not in the brochure

True, all of it. None of it is in the package.

  • I have a PhD in food engineering. The thesis was about fluids that change over time. Wedding timelines, basically.
  • I represented New Zealand in inline hockey.Quick on my feet. Useful during the bouquet toss.
  • I run a badminton YouTube channel that gets over 100,000 views a day.
  • I’m learning AI.It still can’t do the worm.

A few true things

The short version.

    Honours

Five hundred weddings. Three hundred awards. And counting.

I’d rather show you a whole wedding than a trophy shelf. Still, here’s the shelf. Judged by photographers, in front of photographers, around the world.

Tell me the date. I’ll tell you honestly.

If I’m free, you’ll hear what your day could look like. If I’m booked, I’ll say so straight away.

*there are no wrong answers in the guest book. Except “no idea”.

That is all I need to check your date. Part two below is optional, and the one button at the bottom sends both parts together.

Why I ask. The more I know about you two, the more the photos look like you. Your answers decide where I stand, who I keep an eye on, and when I have the camera up before anyone else does.

Sends both parts, in one email, straight to Binh. Skip part two if you are in a hurry.
